VP of Marketing (F/M/D)

The Head of Communications is responsible for overseeing internal and external brand communications for the entire leAD brand (Academy Programs, Funds, and Partnerships. Involved in the planning and implementation of brand communications strategy, this role is key to ensure the most persuasive & informative message is constantly distributed through the most efficient marketing channels, reaching the target audience. Main tasks and responsibilities during the application and scouting stage of the Academy Programs include writing and editing press releases and editorial pieces according to PR opportunities; establishing media partnerships; managing marketing budget and negotiating costs; running paid google ads campaigns and optimizing them based on analytics; producing marketing collateral such as booklets and announcement material. During the program, this role entails supporting event production and branding material; overseeing content production; providing guidance and managing team tasks. Other ongoing tasks include establishing lasting relationships with strategic journalists and coordinating interviews for spokespeople, developing a vision for the leAD’s website and implementing it through coordination of different stakeholders – developers, executives, designers and copywriters.

  • Oversee leAD’s local and global brand communication
  • Further improve and strengthen leAD’s unified brand messaging towards external and alsointernal parties
  • Work closely with other journalists and outlets to promote leAD and its portfolio companieson a global stage
  • Actively engage during events with the support of the event production and pre-productionof marketing material for both the startups and leAD
  • Oversee social media and its related strategies
  • Support and advice the startups on their brand building and external communication andmarketing strategy
  • Work with all internal and external stakeholders to further improve the website
  • Build and manage your marketing and communication team from scratch

  • Strong marketing, communication and storytelling skills
  • Being self-driven and entrepreneurial, ready to go the extra mile to deliver the best results forleAD and its startups
  • Innovative thinking to create unique and unparalleled collaboration ideas between businessunites
  • Excellent communication (written as well as spoken) and presentational skills in English (knowledge of other foreign languages would be beneficial)
  • High quality skills in creating convincing presentations and social media templates
